The Power Electronics Research & Promotion Centre of Warsaw University
As part of improving the organisation of Warsaw University of Technology,
on the initiative of the teaching and research staff of several Faculties,
on 1st July 1997, the Rector founded the Power Electronics Research Promotion
Centre. Examples of solutions allowing the shortening and better
adaptation of links between the individual branches of the economy and
training and research work have been observed in the USA in two of the
most dynamic centres in Wisconsin and Virginia. Americans know very
well that research is the best method of investing. Implementing
such investments indirectly – through taxes and the state budget - is not
the best solution.
To encourage companies to start their co-operation with the Centre
– best done in the form of a periodical agreement of co-operation between
partners – we provide the most relevant information regarding the purpose,
organisation, and forms of activity of the Centre.
